Another hidden obscurity, got the file from a friend and want 2 share it with U now as X-Mas draws nearer. There are speculations regarding this band/demo cassette in web forums saying that this group was signed to Prince's Paisley Park label (without any impact by the master himself) and was intended 2 B released in 1992/1993 but - as has often been the case - didn't see the light of day 4 unknown reasons. That's sad as this EP contains some promising RnB/Swing with a touch of Ragga now and then. In addition sound quality is really good (which is probably owed 2 Paisley Park's studio equipment). I'm pretty sure U'll like this 1!
Obscure & rare demo tape of a female artist named Van Johnson. Discogs assigns this release 2 artist Vann Johnson. Probability is high, but it's unofficial/not confirmed. I did my very best regarding sound quality of the rip but there's still a few weaker parts limited to A side, B side is flawless IMO. Hope U won't complain about some acoustic shortcomings, but enjoy/appreciate the music instead. Both songs are finest RnB/Swing, B side with a touch of House.
