I decided that today would be the perfect Today day 😉. Announced as surprise during the week I bring you a quadruple post of that NJS supergroup. 2 slammin' singles and 2 timeless albums,  including Lee "Bubba/Big Bub" Drakefords' '97 solo album Timeless. All items are must haves for every NJS addict (Teddy Riley and Gene Griffin productions to the fullest). That's why I share them 😅. Have fun with these! Peace, love & harmony!

This EP is definitely another alltime fav of mine. Finest Funk/NJS/Rap by "unknown" Kharizma. You won't find much information regarding this artist on the internet. Every track is killin' it. Track A1 is a catchy ballad, A2 a monster Boogie/NJS tune, B1 and B2 finally are rapped NJS bangers. Plus: 3 of the tracks have stunning piano/keyboard solo parts!!! All in all this EP is a coherent affair!

OF-U - You Still Be Mine (VLS) (1987)

A You Still Be Mine
B You Still Be Mine (Instrumental)

Here's an extremely nice Belgian release (unfortunately the only one of OF-U) for the funkateers amongst you. The beginning of the vocal/A side sounds like Freestyle/Hi-NRG, but after appr. 60 seconds the song switches to an insane Boogie/Swingbeat sound and grooves on for 5 further minutes. I love this single which classically consists of a vocal and instrumental version (still the perfect recipe). Enjoy!

I've let you know several times that I'm a great devotee of the Scott + Raven crew. Here's another impressive demonstration of one of its members' musical skills: Terry L. Scott wrote this marvelous song. You'll hopefully enjoy this P.Funk soaked Swingbeat banger as much as I do! Give it to me...

Amazing single of super producer, instrumentalist & vocalist Frank Cornelius. His musical output had a wide range but one thing in common: Everything he touched resulted in dope music (at least for true music lovers)! Although his focus lay on Funk / Electro he came up with this NJS banger just like that. Oh yeah oh yeah, yep yep, oops up side your head 😉. I'm sure you won't get enough of this one!

Holy grail alert for a third & last time. Here's an ultra nice Demo/Test Pressing cassette compilation of RnB/Swing gems produced by Peter Blacksmith. Most of them are from unknown artists, two songs are from short-lived UK RnB/Swing group Rhythm-N-Bass that appeared with 2 singles in the early 90's. Overall it's a well-rounded affair. Have fun with it!

Holy grail alert part 2. Again I'm bringin' you some mega rare stuff. This time it's the CD album of Wyattsville artist Trace, the only release of both artist and label. The style of this album is very unique and extremely cool, I assure you that you won't find something alike. It's a thrilling and second to none mixture of Vocal, Pop and NJS. Enjoy!

Holy grail alert!!! I decided to post a super rare single (which is rather an EP) this weekend. You'll still find some copies of this one for sale, but only for eyewatering prices. I'm very glad to own the cassette single and share it with you. Track A1 is a groovy RnB/Swing gem, track A2 a straight Hip Hop joint, track B1 a catchy Soul ballad and track B2 a reduced/laidback version of the title track. So diversity is the motto of this cassette. And this is definitely a flawless rip (CD quality)! Feedbacks are welcome!
